Specimens examined. 1♂, 1♀, Jazan, Abu Aresh, Al-Mahdag Village, 4.ii.2012, sweeping, J.C. Deeming and H.A. Dawah (NMWC) ; 1♂, 1♀, Asir, Al-Souda, Al-Muqtha Dam, 18.ix.2014, sweeping, H.A. Dawah (CERS) .

Distribution. This species was previously recorded from Saudi Arabia by Deeming & Al-Dhafer (2012). It was described from Yemen and Saudi Arabia, the yemeni material being reared from sorghum stems.
