Daira perlata (Herbst, 1790)

Material examined. 1 male (13.7 x 9.7 mm) (DABFUK), Kadamat, 5 May 2014; 1 female (46.8 x 32.7 mm) (DAB- FUK), Chetlat, 4 November 2015 .

Remarks. Previously recorded from Lakshadweep by Alcock (1894, 1898), Thomas (1969) and Suvarna Devi et al. (2014), this species has a wide range in the Indo-West Pacific (Serène 1984).
