Cherusius triunguiculatus (Borradaile, 1902)
Material examined. 1 ovigerous female (5.7 x 4.1 mm) (DABFUK), Minicoy, 16 September 2014.
Remarks. Cherusius was better known as Jonesius Sankarankutty, 1962, but Low & Ng (2012) showed that the name was preoccupied by the cestode Jonesius Yamaguti, 1959 . As such, they proposed a replacement name, Cherusius . Cherusius triunguiculatus has been previously reported from Lakshadweep by Rao et al. (1989) and Venkataraman et al. (2004).
