DISTRIBUTION: Bolivia; Peru; Andean and W. Ecuador; N. Colombia; perhaps S. W. Colombia.

COMMENT: May include rothschildi; see Hall, 1981:854. Corbet and Hill, 1980:189, listed rothschildi as a subspecies of bicolor; see comment under rothschildi .
