Type material. Male from “Noveau Mondeu”, Saint Vincent, not found, presumed lost .

Remark. Walckenaer (1837) described T. sanctivincenti from Saint Vincent Island (Figs 21–22) in the Caribbean, with no further information. As the type seems to be lost, Hüsser (2018) suggested it should be considered as species inquirenda. The type locality is an island, thus there is the possibility of recollecting specimens and to redescribe it; therefore, we consider it a valid species. More recently, Hüsser (2018) described two new species, T. polybotes (from Saint Lucia Island) and T. rasti (from Union Island) both in the same Archipelago of Saint Vincent Island. As all these islands are relatively close, there is the possibility of one of these two species be conspecific with T. sanctivincenti . However, this question will only be resolved after specimens from Saint Vincent Island are available for redescription and comparison.
