Material examined. Papua New Guinea. PAPUA NIUGINI, Stn PB18, 05°06.3'S, 145°49.1'E, 26 m, 30 December 2012: 1 ov. F 3.6 mm (MNHN-IU-2013-8446).

New Caledonia. Surprises Atoll, Stn 462, 18°20'S, 162°59'E, 40 m, 1 March 1985: 1 M 5.3 mm (MNHN-IU- 2013-8447).

Remarks. The specimens agree well with the description by Osawa (2004). The epipods are present only on P1 (New Caledonia) and on P1–2 (Papua New Guinea). No genetic data are available for this species.
