Material examined. Holotype: female, MOLDOVA, Strasheny District: Panasheshty, apple tree, ex Ancylis selenana Gn., 6.viii.1979, leg. V. Kuslitskiy (deposited in: SIZK).

Diagnosis. Exochus selenanae is similar to E. gratus, but has narrower temples, more abundant yellow colouration of body, and whitish basally and fuscous apically hind tibia.

Distribution. Currently known from Moldova, Russia (Amur Region), Ukraine (Tolkanitz 2007b).
