Subgenus Isohelea Kieffer, 1917

Type species. Ceratopogon lacteipennis Zetterstedt, 1838, sensu Kieffer (misidentified = Psilohelea sociabilis Goetghebuer), by original designation.

Diagnosis. Fourth palpal segment usually with two setae; wing with two well developed radial cells of equal size, vein M2 usually present, wing with some macrotrichia at apex. Usually two seminal capsules (Wirth & Grogan 1988, de Meillon & Wirth 1991).
