Remarks. Lee (2010) placed four species in Oncotympana, providing a key to the species: O. pallidiventris Stål, 1870, O. viridicincta Stål, 1870, O. nigristigma (Walker, 1850) and an undescribed species but misidentified as O. viridicincta by Endo & Hayashi (1979), all from the Philippines. Four additional species of this genus are described here as new species from Luzon, bringing the number of species in the genus to eight. A new key to the species of Oncotympana is provided here to incorporate all eight species.
