Type material. Holotype: Ƥ, CHINA: Yunnan, Xishuangbanna, Mengla County, Menglun Town, Menglun Nature Reserve, Rubber plantation (about 20 years old, N21º54.463', E101º15.978', 569 m), 9–13 August 2006, leg G. Zheng, pitfall traps (IZCAS-Ar. 19101).

Etymology. The specific name comes from the combination: sub- + mirabilis, refers to the similarity between this new species and O. mirabilis .

Diagnosis. This species is similar to O. mirabilis Zhang, Yang & Zhu, 2005 and O. gaofengensis Zhang, Zhang & Kim, 2005, but can be separated from O. mirabilis by the width of two spermathecae / width of median sclerotized plate = 4.0 (1.5 in O. mirabilis); from O. gaofengensis by the complicated twisting of the copulatory ducts (simple in O. gaofengensis), the tip of sclerotozed plate is convex (concave in O. gaofengensis).

Description. Female (holotype): Total length 6.00. Prosoma 2.50 long, 2.00 wide; opisthosoma 3.50 long, 1.65 wide. Carapace yellow. Eye measurements: AME 0.13, ALE 0.28, PME 0.26, PLE 0.25, AME-AME 0.25; AME-ALE 0.08; PME-PME 0.34; PME-PLE 0.30. Eye row width measurement: I 0.48, II 0.84, III 1.40, IV 0.78. Clypeus height 0.82. Opisthosoma dorsally gray with grayish-white broken spots, laterally with grayish-black stripes; ventrally with a grayish-black marking mesally.

Epigynum (Figs 31 B–C, 32A–B). Epigynum with a median sclerotized plate, the anterior part of copulatory ducts large, translucent, depression-shaped; posterior part of copulatory ducts twisted two times, spermatheca slightly thicker than copulatory ducts.
