Records from Rio de Janeiro State: Baía de Sepetiba, Dona Luísa beach (22º59’11.44”S; 43º41’35.50”W), in very thin sediment and between small algae at the base on the sea (Arlé 1966b) .

Occurrence in Brazil: Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Norte, Espírito Santo, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro .
