Genus Galumnopsis Grandjean, 1931

Body surface without strongly developed sculpture or ornamentation. Rostrum narrowly rounded or pointed. Lamellar and sublamellar lines present (sometimes sublamellar lines indistinct), long, thin or thickened, parallel, curving backwards at ventral end. Rostral and lamellar setae medial to lamellar lines. Bothridial setae erect, clavate, fusiform, lanceolate. Postanal porose area present. Notogastral setae represented by 10 pairs of alveoli. Notogaster with porose areas. Without dorsolateral pores. Median pore absent or present in females and males, undivided or (represented exceptionally by several parts. Epimeral neotrichy absent. Adanal lyrifissures distanced from anal aperture, preanal. Leg tarsi with three claws.
