Distribution: India (Punjab); Australia; Cambodia, Celebes, Indonesia (Java); Philippine Islands; Sri Lanka; Thailand; Vietnam (Diakonoff 1973, 1982; Koçak & Kemal 2012; Nedoshivina 2013).

Hosts: Larvae are reported to feed on the leaves of Alpinia galanga (Zingiberaceae) and Drypetes lasiognatha (Euphorbiaceae) (Diakonoff 1973; Horak 2006).
