Alburnus tarichi (Güldenstädt, 1814)

Distribution in the area. Endemic to Lake Van drainage in eastern Anatolia.

Taxonomic notes. Closely related to A. sellal but has recently been confirmed to represent a valid species (Freyhof et al. 2018).
