Dias, suspended trap at a height of 1,6 meters .
Distribution. Brazil (Pará), Panama (Canal Zone).
Natural history. Two analysed specimens were obtained from a large cocoon containing many pupae of Hylesia Hübner ( Saturniidae) moth found in the wall of an abandoned building in the border of a secondary forest (Fig. 16C). The type-specimens were reared from spider eggs (Hall 1937), evidencing that it utilizes a variety of host species from different orders and developing stages, as previously documented for other species of Pseudogaurax (Banes et al. 1992) .
Remarks. This species has been recorded only for the type-locality in the Panama (Sabrosky & Paganelli 1984). Therefore, this is a new record from Brazil.
