Dactuliothrips diversus Bailey, 1939: 170
Body dark brown; fore wings uniformly colored. Head longer than wide, with two pairs of long postocular setae.
Mesonotum without microtrichia; metanotum without microtrichia and with two pairs of setae: one on anterior margin, one behind the first pair (Fig. 37). Fore femur with 2–5 weakly-developed spurs on inner margin. Abdominal sternites covered with microtrichia, with about 5–6 medial discal setae; sternite VII with three pairs of posteromarginal setae and two pairs of smaller supernumerary setae.
Material examined. USA, California, Hinkley, 3 females, 2 males paratypes, on Oenothera dentata, 15.iv.1938 (B.E. White).
