Type locality: Parc National de la Garamba [ Garamba National Park, DR Congo] .

Current status: Unavailable, published as infrasubspecific after 1960 (ICZN 1999, Art. 15.2).

Remarks: The holotype and another paratype are preserved in RMCA.
