Rasahus sipolisii Fallou, 1887

Original data: “Minas Geraes” (Fallou 1887: 68).

Types: Syntype 1 ♂: “ SYNTYPE ” // “ Bresil ” // “ sipolisii Fallou ” // “ MUSEUM PARIS COLL. G. FALLOU 259- 95” (Fig. 61) .

Syntypes 1 ♂ 1 ♀: same label information as above.

Type locality: Minas Geraes [Brazil].

Current status: Junior synonym of Rasahus hamatus (Fabricius, 1781) (Bergroth 1892: 262) .

Remarks: Fallou (1887: 68) didn’t designate the holotype and didn’t mention the number of specimens. The three syntypes found in the MNHN were subsequently provided with syntype labels and printed labels of the MNHN probably by Villiers (or possibly Jeannel), and transferred from Fallou’s collection to the general collection.
