Distribution. Brazil (Minas Gerais and Goiás [new record] states) (Fig. 39).
Remarks. In addition to the diagnostic characters included in the original description of X. jaguare, this species is also distinguished by having segment V of the maxillary palps very reduced, being smaller than all other preceding segments (Figs 23, 24, arrows). Furthermore, the eyes are distinctly large (Fig. 22). The species occurs on the Paraná and Tocantins Basins, with records from the Cerrado of Minas Gerais and Goiás states (Fig. 39).
