The first abdominal ventrite is more clearly visible in this specimen (HUM: HU0000121211) than in previously available material (i.e. the holotype). The steep lateral flanges are partially formed by a very dense aggregation of long setae stuck together (Fig. 14D), whereas in the original description setae were mentioned as occurring only distally on these ridges (Caterino and Maddison 2018).
