Paratypes: 2 lots, 28 specimens; DZSJRP 19156, 3, 25.7–41.8 mm SL, stream of headwaters of rio Itamarandiba, rio Jequitinhonha, Itamarandiba, Minas Gerais, Brazil, 18°05’51”S, 42°56’44”W, cols. F. Langeani et al., 26 September 2013; and DZSJRP 19158, 25 (4 c&s, tissue samples of 3 specimens), two paratypes dissected (encephalon extracted), 24.4–48.1 mm SL, collected with the holotype.
