Exclusions from Tridentellidae

Tridentella takedai Nunomura, 2006; off Arasaki, Hokusuka-Shi, Kyushu, Japan. Here formally transferred to Alcirona Hansen, 1905, forming Alcirona takedai (Nunomura, 2006) comb. nov. The details of the mouthparts and the dactylus of pereopods 1–3 agrees totally with that of Alcirona; as no comparisons were made to the species of Alcirona we make no judgement on the status of this species.
