Lycaena dispar (Haworth, 1802)
—Only a few reports mention the occurrence of this species in Montenegro (Bulić et al. 2011, Hadžić & Muković 2013; Sobczyk & Gligorović 2016). The apparent rarity of this species can possibly be attributed to the lack of surveys in the northern parts of the country, in areas with suitable habitats. In the south of the country, and along the coast, it is replaced by L. ottomana (Lefèbvre, 1830), which occupies similar habitats.
