Coelotes guangxian Zhang et al. 2003: 79, figs 1–5 (holotype male, male and female paratypes, in MHBU, examined).
Material examined: Holotype. CHINA: Yunnan: 3, Dali, Fengyi Town, Gong Mt., N25.5°, E100.3°, November 4, 2001, G.X. Luo (MHBU).
Paratype. CHINA: Yunnan: 432Ƥ, same vial as holotype (MHBU).
Diagnosis: The female of this species resembles C. pseudoguangxian sp. nov. in having the laterally extended copulatory ducts, but can be distinguished by the anteriorly situated epigynal teeth and short spermathecal heads (Figs 27–28). The male can be easily identified by the long, slender, strongly recurved conductor (Figs 29–30).
Description: Male (holotype): Medium sized coelotine, total length 7.64 (Fig. 36). ALE largest, slightly larger than other eyes which are subequal in size; AME separated from each other by slightly more than half their diameter, from ALE by half of AME diameter; PME separated from each other by slightly less than their diameter, from PLE by slightly more than PME diameter (Fig. 37). Chelicera with 3 promarginal and 4 retromarginal teeth. Labium longer than wide (L/W=1.15) (Fig. 38). Palpal patellar apophysis large, slightly pointed; RTA more than half of tibial length, distinctly extended distally; lateral tibial apophysis broad, distinctly separated from RTA; cymbial furrow short, approximately 1/3 of cymbial length; conductor long, slender, forming a large, strongly recurved loop, with distal end extended to level of median apophysis, dorsal apophysis present, basal lamella small; median apophysis broad, round, spoon-shaped; embolus short, filifom, prolateral in origin (Figs 29–30, 33–35).
Female (paratype): Medium sized coelotine, total length 7.04 (Fig. 39). AME smallest, slightly more than half the size of ALE; ALE largest; posterior eyes subequal in size or with PLE slightly larger; anterior eyes equally separated by slightly less than AME diameter; PME separated from each other by slightly less than their diameter, from PLE by slightly less than 1.5 times PME diameter (Fig. 40). Chelicera with 3 promarginal and 4 retromarginal teeth. Labium slightly longer than wide (L/W=1.04) (Fig. 41). Epigynal teeth long, arise at anterior atrial margin, separated by about atrial width; atrium small, with distinct, continuous anterior margin but indistinct lateral margins; copulatory ducts broad, extend laterally and only slightly extend anteriorly; spermathecal bases distinctly separated, then anteriorly extended and converged, stalks short; spermathecal heads arise anteriorly (Figs 27–28, 31–32).
Distribution: China (Yunnan) (Fig. 154).
