TD: holotype, male, ZMHU.

Distribution in India: Sikkim, Meghalaya (Khasis)(Hampson 1892);Himalaya (Zolotuhin 1992); Manipur (Irungbam et al. 2020). Global records: Nepal, Bhutan, southern China, Myanmar (Hauenstein et al. 2011).

Remark: The species spelling and the year was erroreously mentioned as Baodera kashiana (Moore, 1867) rather than B. khasiana (Moore, 1879) by Kishida (1995).
