TD: lectotype, male, ZMHU (errorously mentioned as female holotype from NHMUK by de Lajonquière (1979a).

Distribution in India: West Bengal (Darjeeling), Sikkim (Hampson 1892, Mandal & Maulik 1997); Central Himalaya (Sanyal et al. 2018); Manipur (Irungbam et al. 2020). Global records: Nepal, southern China, Bhutan, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam and Peninsular Malaysia (Hauenstein et al. 2011).
