Discussion. This primarily Neotropical species is known from Brazil (type locality), Panama, and from the USA in Florida . It was also previously recorded from Mexico from the states of Tamaulipas and Yucatan (Wirth 1953, Huerta 2002). We provide the first records from the states of Jalisco and Oaxaca, Mexico .
