Remarks. Kim et al. (2017) described P. prolixa Kim, 2017 from Cambodia. We found it identical to P. carinata Du, Li &Wang, 2011 in forewing pattern as well as in both male and female genitalia. Hence, we treat P. prolixa as a synonym of P. carinata .

Note. The type of P. prolixa was indicated by Kim et al. (2017) as deposited in either INU, SNU, or FMNH without specifying which one was the final depository. This ambiguity remains currently and would need to be resolved by enquiring with these institutions.

This species is recorded from Thailand for the first time.
