Diduga alternota Bucsek, 2014, Erebidae, Arctiinae ( Lithosiini, Arctiini) of Malay Peninsula˗ Malaysia. Suppl.: 8, pl. 1: 11, 11a, gen. MalS09. TL: peninsular Malaysia (Pahang dist. Endau Rompin State Park).
Diagnosis. Length of forewing 5˗6 mm in male and female. D. alternota is similar to D. annulata, both of them with dark fascia in brown forewing, but it can be distinguished by the following characters: forewing more dark brown ground color, with a pale discoidal dot ringed dark line; hindwing brown, with a large dark patch of androconia near tornus, which inside of the spot has small light brown stain.

Distribution. Cambodia (Kampot, Koh Kong provinces), peninsular Malaysia.
Remarks. This species was reported from Cambodia by Bae et al. (2016).
