Distribution. Western Atlantic—Bermuda, Florida, Yucatan, West Indies, Brazil (seamounts of Brazilian North Chain, Pará to Espírito Santo). Central Atlantic—Saint Helena. Eastern Atlantic—Canary Islands, Cape Verde, Gulf of Guinea (Christoffersen 1979; Ramos-Porto & Coelho 1993; d’Udekem d’Acoz 1999).
