Stasina macleayi Bryant, 1940: 402, figs 174, 180 (Male holotype from Cuba, Oriente, south side Pico Turquino [19°59’N, 76°50’W], June 1936, P.J. Darlington Jr. leg., deposited in MCZ 21924, examined; female allotype from the same locality, P.J. Darlington Jr. leg., deposited in MCZ 26452, examined). World Spider Catalog 2015.

Additional material examined. CUBA: Granma: 1♂, Bartolomé Maso, Macizo Turquino, bosque sempre verde, 1100 m [20°08’N, 76°46’W], 24−31 March 2012, Team CarBio leg. (NMNH) ; 1♂, Bartolomé Maso, Pico Turquinho, Buey Arriba [20°08’N, 76°46’W], 24−31 March 2012, Team CarBio leg. (NMNH) .

Diagnosis. Males of N. macleayi comb. nov. are distinguished from those of the remaining species of the genus by the eRTA cylindrical, arising retro-proximally from tibia, by the U-shaped border of dRTA and vRTA, in ventral view, and by the elf hat shaped TBC (Fig. 100). Females are distinguished by the median septum with posterior margin rebordered (Fig. 103) and by the spermathecae with an anterior twist and five additional twists and by the glandular projections very long, more than five times longer than wide (Figs 104−105).
