OTHER REPORTED NAMES: Oxydromus propinquus (Marion & Bobretzky, 1875); Gyptis rosea Malmgren, 1874 . REMARKS: The Adriatic records of this species used to be referred to Gyptis rosea Malmgren, 1874, considered by Eliason (1962a) as a synonym of G. propinqua . Pleijel (1993) separated the two species and attributed the Mediterranean records to G. propinqua .
