REMARKS: Family Ctenodrilidae Kennel, 1882 (in this list represented by the genera Ctenodrilus Claparède, 1863 and Raphidrilus Monticelli, 1910) was found to be nested within the Cirratulidae by the studies of Bleidorn, Vogt & Bartolomaeus (2003) and Rouse & Pleijel (2003).
