REMARKS: Alien species with a western Atlantic origin (Zenetos et al. 2010), reported for the first time in the Mediterranean Sea in Málaga (Spain) (Aguirre et al. 1986). In the Adriatic the species was recorded in 2009 at Torre Guaceto (SA) (Occhipinti-Ambrogi et al. 2011).
