REMARKS: This is the first record from the Adriatic Sea. However, identification is uncertain and in need of confirmation. This species is distributed along the Atlantic coast of central Africa (Togo, the type locality, and Ivory Coast) (Rullier 1965; Intes & Le Loeuff 1975).
