REMARKS: Reported for the SA in the polychaete checklist of the Italian seas (Castelli et al. 2008). However, more precise data on collections sites not available.

REMARKS: The presence of this species in the Adriatic Sea is considered to be dubious and its records probably refer to Phylo foetida (Claparède, 1870) (A. Castelli, pers. comm.).
