Gynapteromyia stricta (Fedotova & Sidorenko, 2005) comb. nov.
Haplusia stricta — Fedotova & Sidorenko 2005: 120, figs 132–134.
The holotype male, the only specimen known of H. stricta, seems to lack the antennae inasmuch as no antennal characters were mentioned in Fedotova & Sidorenko’s (2005) description. With both the number of flagellomeres and the kind of antennal sensilla unknown, it remains uncertain whether this species is correctly placed in Diallactiini . Assuming that the authors decided correctly regarding this, H. stricta should be classified in Gynapteromyia because the dorsomedial edges of the gonocoxites were described as extensively sclerotized (Fedotova & Sidorenko 2005: fig. 132). Also, the wing length of 2.3 mm indicated in the original description would suggest a body length of about 2.0 mm, which fits Gynapteromyia better than Johnsonomyia .
