3 colonies, polyp, without gonophores; Agua de Yepiz, La Paz Bay, Baja California Sur, 24.288°N, 110.630°W; depth 0–1 m; 24 June 2018; on undetermined algae, ascidian, and coralline algae; ECO-CH-Z 11791 .
Identification (after Schuchert 2001)
Colonies erect; hydrocaulus monosiphonic, branched. Perisarc with a few wrinkled, and with irregular annulations, principally at base; terminating abruptly below hydranth. Hydranth spindle-shaped; tentacles capitate, with five in an oral whorl and many others scattered over hydranth. Without filiform tentacles. With stenotele nematocysts.
