(1) The malacobyrsa group

(Figs 6 a−8a)

Diagnosis. Moths of the malacobyrsa group share a broad lanceolate yellow forewing with a wide blackish brown postmedian fascia (Fig. 6a). In the male genitalia (Fig. 7a), the uncus is more or less conical or rod-shaped; the gnathos is absent; the valva is blade-shaped in most species; the transtilla is dilated roundly or enlarged irregularly; and the sacculus entirely separated from the valva. In the female genitalia (Fig. 8a), the antrum is heavily sclerotized or membranous; the ductus bursae is widely sclerotized or narrowly membranous; and the rounded corpus bursae has 1−2 signa.

The malacobyrsa group includes four described species.
