(7) The facialis group

Diagnosis. Moths of the facialis group share a yellow forewing with a dark costal spot and a dark apical patch (Fig. 6g). In the male genitalia (Fig. 7g), the uncus is sub-triangular, club-shaped, or long spine-shaped; the gnathos is absent or present; and the sacculus is separated from the valva, or only free distally. In the female genitalia (Fig. 8g), the antrum is heavily sclerotized in most species, the ductus bursae is sclerotized or membranous, and the corpus bursae lacks or has 1ā2 signa.
The facialis group includes 24 described species.
