Orthizema sp.

Material examined: MALTA, Mosta Valley, 23. ii.2010, 3 ♂♂, emerged from Eudarcia melitensis Gaedike & Zerafa ( Lepidoptera: Tineidae). Larva was collected on 22.i.2010, MZ, MSC [parasitoid determined by Martin Schwarz; host determined by Michael Zerafa].

Notes: This genus has not previously been recorded from the Maltese Islands.
