Lysitermus tritoma (Bouček, 1956)

Material examined: MALTA, Mosta Valley, v.2010, 1 ♂ & 2♀♀, emerged from larvae of Eudarcia derrai (Gaedike) ( Lepidoptera: Tineidae), which were collected on 22.i.2010, MZ, NMS [parasitoid determined by Mark Shaw; host determined by Michael Zerafa].

Notes: New record for the Maltese Islands. Hosts of this species were not previously known, however Jonsell et al. (2016) suggest that it is a parasitoid of Lepidoptera and it is almost certainly an idiobiont ectoparasitoid.
