Biology. Xerothermic grasslands. Adults occur in VI–X (Dieckmann 1977). On Asteraceae: Carlina vulgaris, Echinops ritro (Hoffmann 1958; Alonso-Zarazaga 1991; Wanat 1995); Centaurea jacea (Hoffmann 1958; Smreczyński 1965; Dieckmann 1977; Alonso-Zarazaga 1991; Wanat 1995); C. scabiosa (Dieckmann 1977; Alonso-Zarazaga 1991; Wanat 1995).
