Biology. Xerothermic habitats. Adults occur in VII–IX. Oligophagous on Artemisia spp. ( Asteraceae). Larva develops in root gall (Volovnik 2010).

Notes. Red listed as near threatened in Ukraine (Volovnik & Nazarenko 2009: Red List of Ukraine).
