Distribution. Balkans, SE Europe and steppes of Central Europe, Turkey, SW Siberia, Altai.

Material examined. 34 specimens (KUMN, ZIN, ZMUN) including: Crimea: 8spec. (KUMN), Alushta Distr., Crimean Nature Reserve, Khyr-Alan Mts, Alma River valley, 44.719133°N 34.198706°E, 470 m, Levchinskaya leg. 25.v.1954 ; 2spec. (KUMN) Feodosiya Distr., Karadag Nature Reserve, 44.912167°N 35.208194°E, xerothermic slope, K. Nadein leg. 4.v.2000 .

Biology. Mixed forests and xerothermic shrublands, steppes. Adults occur in IV–VI. Polyphagous.
