Distribution. Endemic to South Carpathians. Note. It is surely known from Romania. Re-examination of major collections failed to find voucher specimens to confirm O. longiventris to inhabit Ukrainian Carpathians. We suggest the records from Jasina (= Yasynya, Rakhiv distr., Zakarpatska Prov.) are probably based on mislabeled specimens or misidentification of O. krattereri .
