Diagnosis. Adult (Fig. 8) wingspan 15.0–20.0 mm. Calamotropha dentatella is characterized by the triangular valva gradually narrowed to apex, the costa with five or more denticles ranging from beyond middle to near apex, and the phallus with a large spine-like cornutus and the vesica with a row of small spiniform cornuti (Fig. 34).
