B96E87DEFF904726FF10FD44FCA7A7FE.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. The new species, A. pseudonitida sp. nov. (Figs. 1,2,3), is very similar to A. nitida (Figs. 5) in the general coloration and pattern of the forewing, particularly on the more contrasting black elements of the forewing, better developed shine on the surface of the forewing. The new species can be differentiated from the other species based on the features of male genitalia. Uncus is slightly thinner and shorter than in A. nitida (Fig. 14). Tegumen with two short, pointed lateral penicular extensions is rounded and not sclerotized in A. nitida. Valva slightly narrower towards the apex, whereas in A. nitida, it is wide. Sacculus broad with thin hairs, harpe situated in the distal half of the valva, well sclerotized at the base, slightly curved and pointed towards the apex, but shorter than in A. nitida (Fig. 14), A. himalaya (Fig. 15), A. albicans sp. nov. (Fig. 16), and A. infausta (Fig. 18). Saccus is broader and wider than in A. nitida (Fig. 14), which is narrow.	en	Irungbam, Jatishwor Singh, Fric, Zdenek Faltynek (2025): Three new species of the genus Anacronicta Warren in Seitz, 1909 (Noctuidae: Pantheinae) from northeast India. B96E87DEFF964720FF10FF5BFDB6A507.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. The new species, A. manipura sp. nov. (Fig. 4), is very similar to A. himalaya (Fig. 10), in the wing pattern but differs in the ground colour of the forewing, which is darker than the lighter grey base colour, and the reniform stigmata is filled with golden flaw in A. himalaya (Fig. 10). Based on the male genitalia, the new species belongs to the A. infausta group due to the structure of the basal diverticulum of the vesica. Compared to those of A. himalaya (Fig. 18), the male genitalia of A. manipura sp. nov. (Fig. 15) has the much narrower and less curved uncus, the slightly more elongated tegumen, the broader juxta, harpe much shorter than valva, carina with strong toothed field, vesica recurved at the base, and bearing a smaller diverticulum with three further, smaller diverticuli, which are covered with dense cornuti.	en	Irungbam, Jatishwor Singh, Fric, Zdenek Faltynek (2025): Three new species of the genus Anacronicta Warren in Seitz, 1909 (Noctuidae: Pantheinae) from northeast India. B96E87DEFF9B472CFF10FA4EFC14A117.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. The species resembles A. nitida (Fig. 5) and A. horishana Matsumura, 1931 (Fig. 6) in forewing pattern, dark shadow near the reniform, and the dark brown streak from the lower reniform to the outer margin, as well as the light area between the reniform, dark streak, postmedian fascia, and costal margin. A. albargentea differs by its whitish forewing ground color, more contrasting dark wing patterns, and ochreous-yellowish outer hindwings. In male genitalia, A. albargentea (Fig. 17) has a more massive structure, longer sclerotized pointed peniculi of the tegumen, and a differently shaped and armed vesica.	en	Irungbam, Jatishwor Singh, Fric, Zdenek Faltynek (2025): Three new species of the genus Anacronicta Warren in Seitz, 1909 (Noctuidae: Pantheinae) from northeast India. B96E87DEFF9A472CFF10FEA2FA05A324.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. Anacronicta himalaya is closely related to A. infausta, particularly in the structure of the basal diverticulum of the vesica in the male genitalia. However, A. himalaya can be distinguished from all other species in the group by its lighter gray base color and the distinct gold-like kidney-shaped mark on its forewings.	en	Irungbam, Jatishwor Singh, Fric, Zdenek Faltynek (2025): Three new species of the genus Anacronicta Warren in Seitz, 1909 (Noctuidae: Pantheinae) from northeast India. B96E87DEFF9A472CFF10FEA2FA05A324.taxon	discussion	Remarks. The species was recently described by Bálint et al. (2023) based on specimens from the late Dr. Márton Hreblay’s collection (1963 – 2000), housed at the Hungarian Natural History Museum in Budapest. Unfortunately, we do not have any barcoded specimens, which is why A. himalaya was not included in the phylogenetic analysis.	en	Irungbam, Jatishwor Singh, Fric, Zdenek Faltynek (2025): Three new species of the genus Anacronicta Warren in Seitz, 1909 (Noctuidae: Pantheinae) from northeast India. B96E87DEFF9A472CFF10FCBEFD58A5CD.taxon	diagnosis	Diagnosis. Anacronicta infausta (Fig. 11) is very similar to the new species, A. albicans sp. nov. (Fig. 7, 8), but differs in having more contrasting dark elements in the wing pattern and an area of ochre-yellowish coloration of the inner part of the hindwings. In the structure of male genitalia (Fig. 19), it differs by the shape of the valva and the position of the cornuti in the vesica.	en	Irungbam, Jatishwor Singh, Fric, Zdenek Faltynek (2025): Three new species of the genus Anacronicta Warren in Seitz, 1909 (Noctuidae: Pantheinae) from northeast India.
