                  MATERIAL EXAMINED. India: Assam, Karimganj District,

                 , 24.4742 N, 92.2890 E, h= 44 m, 23.IX 2018, 3 ♂, coll. Vijay Anand Ismavel. 
            </p>
            <p>DIAGNOSIS. The species can be recognized by the long and coiled embolus, the inwardly curved retrolateral tibial apophysis in ventral view and the absence of small cusp distally on the retrolateral tibial apophysis (Figs 3, 4).</p>
            <p>DISTRIBUTION. China (Yunnan) (World Spider Catalog, 2024), India (new record).</p>
            <p> REMARKS. The genus  Foliabitus is recorded from India for the first time. Previous report of  Euophrys omnisuperstes Wanless, 1975 from northern West Bengal (Dhali et al., 2014) has been misidentified (Prószyński, 2016; Caleb, 2019) and is likely to refer to  Foliabitus weihangi or another member of the genus  Foliabitus . </p>
