5E4B2D20FD4DFF9DA1C3FBC2FEA3FA63.taxon	distribution	(Heteroptera: Reduviidae), commonly known as Leafhopper Assassin Bug, has been reported from the island of Tenerife (BAENA & SANTOS, 2021; VAN DER HEYDEN, 2022) and, very recently, from the island of Lanzarote (VAN DER HEYDEN, 2023). The presence of the species on other islands of the Canary archipelago has been expected (VAN DER HEYDEN, 2023). Now, the species can be reported from the island of Fuerteventura: On 04 - 08 - 2023, an adult specimen of Z. renardii was found north of the village of Casillas de Morales, located in the centre of the island in the municipality of Antigua (Fig. 1). A photo of the specimen was uploaded to the online database iNaturalist (see here). It seems to be only a matter of time until Z. renardii will be found on other islands of the archipelago, too.	en	Heyden, Torsten van der (2023): New records of Heteroptera from the Canary Islands (Spain), VI.
